STYLE GUIDES
A sampling of style guide production
Bouffants & Broken Hearts
As the Associate Creative Director for Jewel Branding, I was often tasked with designing style guides. The sales team wanted to create a style guide for Bouffants & Broken Hearts to take our client from artist to consumer brand. We collaborated to come up with the words to describe the essence of the brand. From there, I picked a color palette and key icons based on the artist's signature designs.
Once our team agreed on the overall vision for the guide, I got to work creating assets to show the brand's visual identity and application. This included logo clearance, typography, key icons, patterns, color palette, and consumer packaging such as a hang tag, woven tag, belly band and gift box.

Rachael Hale
I executed the creative for the Rachael Hale brand during my role at Jewel. The brand publishes two style guides a year. Our first for 2022 was titled, "Let's Go!" It encapsulated a fun, sporty, 90's trend vibe while keeping to the adorable and humorous essence of the brand. I also created graphics featured in the guide that have been licensed by major retailers.
The guide always includes application of the patterns and graphics with mockups on products. Below is a sampling of the application.
